MGI is distinct from "Materials Genome", which is a registered trademark of MaterialsGenome, Inc. (a Pennsylvania Corporation). The use of the term "Materials Genome Initiative" is not intended to serve as an endorsement of or an association with the trademarked term "Materials Genome.”
